Shahid Jamil Khan

Mr. Justice Shahid Jamil Khan (Retired) served as an Additional Judge of the Lahore High Court from March 2014 until his resignation, during which he adjudicated over 27,000 cases and delivered 128 reported judgments covering Tax, Corporate, Constitutional, Civil, Family Law and Arbitration. Widely recognized for his expertise in Tax and Corporate Law, he previously served as Legal Advisor to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for around seven years and was a Member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal. Beyond the bench, Mr. Justice Khan contributed actively to the legal community as Finance Secretary of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, and Vice Chairman of the Tax Reforms Committee. Deeply committed to legal education, he taught at Quaid-e-Azam Law College and delivered lectures at the Punjab Judicial Academy and the Directorate General of Training and Research (Inland Revenue). Internationally, he represented Pakistan at major legal forums, including conferences in the UK, China and the Asia Pacific region.
